Join us for an evening of classic comedy as Redbud Productions presents the beloved play Harvey by Mary Chase, one of the most popular plays ever written.

Winner of the 1945 Pulitzer Prize, this famous comedy ran for 1,775 performances on Broadway, became an Oscar-winning film with Jimmy Stewart and Josephine Hull, has been revived in star-studded productions multiple times on stage and television screen and is soon to be a Steven Spielberg film.

Redbud’s version features Dave Barker as Elwood P. Dowd, whose best friend, Harvey, is an invisible six-foot rabbit. Elwood’s sister Veta (Lenore Ferber) and niece (Anna Miklosovic) are distraught at this curious friendship; the medical team at the local sanitarium (Curt Behlow, Tim Grimes, Charles Jackson and Kyle Marie), are frantic to find a cure and the townspeople (Michele Derr, Mary Franceschi, David Keren, Leah LeBlanc and Chris Starkey) are mystified at the many comic misunderstandings.

Discover why Harvey is one of America’s most popular and beloved plays. Laugh with us, re-discover the magic of the big white rabbit – – and enjoy one of the most successful comedies ever written.
