AT KERRYTOWN CONCERT HOUSE

The Receptionist – Michelle Derr is the receptionist in an office where all is not what it seems in this local premiere of Adam Bock’s accalimed Off-Broadway comedy/drama. Emily Rogers plays her frazzled co-worker with man-troubles, David Keren is her nervous boss with doubts about the nature of his work and Curt Behlow is a mysterious stranger who will alter all of their lives in this staged reading, directed by Tim Grimes.

The Receptionist was originally produced by the Manhattan Theatre Club, Lynn Meadow, Artistic Director, Barry Grove, Executive Director, Daniel Sullivan, Acting Artistic Director 2007-2008 Season on October 12, 2007. Development of The Receptionist was supported by the Eugene O’Neill Center during a residency at the National Playwrights Conference of 2006. It was originally developed at the Perry-Mansfield New Works Festival 2006.

Mauritius – Redbud Productions is proud to present the local premiere, in staged reading form, of Theresa Rebeck’s gripping drama of sisterly rivalry. When Heather Kozlakowski discovers that her dead mother’s stamp collection is invaluable, she does not realize that her estranged half-sister (Halla Motawi) is plotting against her. Nathaniel Fremuth, Khurum Sheikh and Chris Starkey play greedy collectors in this powerful staged reading, directed by Kyle Marie.
